About LoadTraxx
LoadTraxx was one of the first digital load ticket solutions on the market, and we've spent the last several years continuously refining it into one of the most comprehensive platforms available today. We help short-haul trucking and civil construction companies ditch paper tickets and run everything from dispatch to billing in one place.
Short-haul trucking is an old industry, and a new generation is changing how it runs. We're a young, fast-moving team with no red tape, and the next year is the one that defines us. If you like being close to the action and seeing your work matter right away, this is that kind of place.
"I complete 4 days of work in 4 hours." — Michael, Project Manager
"We chose LoadTraxx because they adapted their system to us, not the other way around." — Tanner, Dispatcher

The Role
We're hiring one of our first dedicated sales reps to build and grow our sales pipeline among dump trucking and civil construction companies across the U.S. You'll work directly with the team that built the product and help shape how LoadTraxx is sold.
You'll start in business development: getting in front of fleet owners, dispatchers, and operations managers and booking qualified meetings. As you hit clear milestones, you'll take on more of the sales cycle: running diagnostic calls, delivering demos, and closing deals. We'll be clear about what those milestones are.
We care less about your resume and more about whether you're hungry, coachable, and consistent. Show up, knock on the doors, follow up, own the result. Career changer, career starter, or seasoned seller: if that's you, we want to talk.
What You'll Do
From day one
- Prospect and qualify leads in our core market: dump trucking and civil construction companies running 10 to 250 trucks
- Run in-person outreach, including donut drops (yes, really) and cold stops, to get face time with prospects
- Run outbound outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn using our sequences and messaging playbooks
- Book discovery calls and qualify inbound leads from our website and marketing channels
- Log activity, notes, and deal progress accurately in our CRM
- Help refine our messaging based on what's actually landing with prospects
- Represent LoadTraxx at industry events and trade shows
As you grow
- Lead diagnostic calls that uncover how a fleet handles tickets, dispatch, and billing today
- Deliver tailored LoadTraxx demos and guide prospects through evaluation
- Negotiate and close deals, owning each one through signature
- Hand off new customers to onboarding with clear notes and context
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: learn the product and the industry, ride along on demos, and start booking your first meetings
- By 90 days: booking and holding about 9 qualified diagnostic meetings a month, on the way to a full target of 11
- Next step: once you're consistently hitting your meeting target, you'll start running diagnostic calls and demos, and then closing your own deals. Most people make that move around month 9. If you come in with sales experience and hit your numbers, it can come much sooner. It's based on results, not the calendar.
What We're Looking For
- Resilience. Prospecting means a lot of no's before you get to yes. Got a no? Good. On to the next one.
- Strong communication. You can get people who don't love salespeople to actually want to talk to you, in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Comfort with sales tools. You're at home in a CRM and basic sales tech. We'll train you on ours.
- Self-starter who takes coaching well. You'll get a playbook and a coach, and then we'll trust you to run.
- Travel is required. In-person outreach is core to this role. Expect day trips most weeks and the occasional overnight stay. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Location. We prefer candidates based in the Midwest or Great Lakes region. Our first territory is the Upper Midwest, and you'll spend your first few trips on the road with our team. Living near a metro area is a plus, but not required.
- Experience. Sales experience is valued but not required. Hands-on experience in heavy civil construction or dump trucking operations is a plus.
Why LoadTraxx
- Get in early. Join before the team gets big and take the best seat as we grow.
- A path, not just a job. Start in prospecting and grow into running demos and closing deals.
- Own your results. Your pipeline is yours, and so is the credit.
- Work with the builders. You'll work directly with the people building the product, and your feedback shapes what we build next.
- A product that matters. LoadTraxx solves a painful problem for an industry most software ignores.
